The next bionano meeting will take place on the 30th of April, starting at 12:30 in SR2, School of Biological Sciences.
Martin Volk (Surface Science) will be back on stage, this time to talk about exciting new experimental results obtained in collaboration with Mathias Brust. The title of his talk will be “Laser-induced delivery and release of biomolecules into cells using gold nanoparticles”.
The second talk will be given for the first time by a speaker from Clinical Engineering, and in fact by the head of the Clinical Engineering Research Unit, John Hunt. The title of his talk will be “Control of Human Adult Stem Cells using Direct Contact to Precisely Defined Substrate at the Nanoscale”.
